Updates on COVID-19/Coronavirus
Dear Patients,
We realize that many of our community members have been concerned with the news of the COVID-19 or Coronavirus. As such, we would like to update you on what our team is doing to provide a safe environment here in our clinics for our patients and team.
We also wanted to share some health tips we have been sharing and you will see posted in our clinics. These are aimed at keeping you and our team healthy as well as doing our part to diminish the spread of this virus.
Our first goal is to do everything we can to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 as well as other viruses in our community. We will do everything we can to maintain a clean clinic through regular cleanings and vigilant disinfecting of commonly touched surfaces as well as reminders on frequent hand washing. We will also ensure stocks of hand sanitizer, tissue and tissue receptacles. In addition, we will be screening people, both team members and patients, coming into our locations to ensure they are healthy in order to minimize exposure for everyone. We ask that if you are having any symptoms of illness, specifically fever, cough or shortness of breath, that you stay home and if necessary see your physician. Finally, we will ask that everyone coming through our doors wash their hands upon arrival.
Here are some further recommendations for minimizing risk for COVID-19 as well as other viruses:
- Keep your hands clean. Wash hands often and if hand washing is not available, use hand sanitizer. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Proper hand hygiene is one of the most important steps you can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.
- As always, cover your cough and stay home when you are sick.
- Today, start working on not touching your face because viruses spread when touching your own mouth, nose, or eyes.
- Since we know the virus is here, we all need to stay away from people who are sick.
Thank you,
Team Movement For Life
