Kelly Sanders
President - PT, DPT, OCS, ATC
Kelly Sanders grew up here on the central coast. After graduating from Atascadero High School is 1992, she went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a minor in Exercise and Health Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
In 1999, she received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Following graduation, Kelly completed a one-year residency program in orthopedic physical therapy at Kaiser West Los Angeles and Fortanasce & Associates Physical Therapy. She is board certified in orthopedic physical therapy and also is a certified athletic trainer. In her personal time, Kelly enjoys snow skiing, being outdoors, reading and spending time with her husband and two young children.
Andrew Cherry
Chief Operations Officer
Andrew Cherry serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Movement for Life, leveraging nearly a decade of experience in the physical therapy industry. In his role, Andrew oversees critical operational functions, including Human Resources, IT, Facilities, Marketing, Education, and Business Development. Additionally, he serves as the Product Manager and Owner for the Everflex suite, which comprises various physical therapy-focused software products and services, driving innovation and growth in the field.
Pam Simpson
Treasurer
Pam Orth Simpson joined the Movement for Life team as Controller in 2006 and currently serves as Treasurer. She brings over twenty years of accounting, finance, and management experience from prior employment with two different Fortune 500 restaurant corporations and as Controller for a local restaurant chain. During her career, Pam has been a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Pam enjoys living on California's Central Coast and all it has to offer such as cycling, hiking, and wineries. She loves spending time with her husband and adorable son at activities such as swimming and playing at the beach.
Megan Alexander
Contracting and Credentialing Manager
Megan was born and raised on the Central Coast of California and spent much of her life there before making a move to the big city of Sacramento, which she has grown to love. Megan has been in healthcare administration for over 20 years with experience in Cardiology, Urology and Physical Therapy. She has been with Movement For Life for 13 years - first as a Billing Specialist, then a Billing Supervisor and now as the Contracting and Credentialing Manager where she manages a team of credentialing professionals in payer contracts, negotiations and provider credentialing. In addition, Megan works directly with the Billing Department Director in the practical management of the revenue cycle.
She is a member of HFMA, MGMA and PPS and attends numerous professional conferences each year which include education and training on project management, payer contracting and negotiations and revenue cycle management. In her personal life, Megan is a proud mother of 5, a very young grandma, passionate Survivor fan and wishful traveler, in that order.
Anny Henry
Director of Human Resources
A lifelong passion for people and physical fitness brought Anny to the Movement for Life team in 2015 as the Director of Human Resources. Originally from Quebec, her career carried her to Silicon Valley where she spent fifteen years collaborating to help make others successful at Apple, Microsoft, and several start-ups.
Her high-energy approach and specific experience in benefits administration, payroll and HRIS management, employee relations, and retention, combined with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding result in someone who believes strongly in “team” and looks for ways to make that a reality every day.
Anny is a three-time Canadian national age group bronze medalist in two cycling disciplines and a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer. Anny enjoys training so she spends her free time running, cycling, and teaching a weight lifting class. When she is finished working out she also enjoys traveling, discovering the central coast and Welsh Corgis.

Ryan was born and raised in Southern California and moved to San Luis Obispo in 2007 to attend Cal Poly. He became very interested in human movement and function and eventually joined Movement for Life in late 2009 as a PT Aide. After completing his education, Ryan assumed more responsibilities within the company including Front Office Assistant, Lead PT Aide, Transcriptionist, and Director Track Participant. In 2014, Ryan was awarded a Business Development position for the Central Coast CA Region.
Ryan continues to teach boot camp classes with Athlon Fitness & Performance and enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals. In his personal time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, working out, spending time with his friends and family, and various outdoor activities including surfing, hiking, and camping.

Heidi Coffee
Business Development Director - Central Valley Region
Heidi brings over 25 years of experience of strong outside sales, combined with marketing and promotional expertise in the area of medical diagnostic imaging and physical therapy. Heidi’s has proven skills with identifying and capitalizing on a changing and challenging health care industry trends. She is especially skilled at establishing, developing and maintaining long lasting professional relationships with physicians as well as medical staff.
She is resourceful and a creative thinker with strong negotiation skills. Works professionally with each clinic assisting them with goal setting, event planning and marketing. Heidi lives in Lodi, CA where in her spare time she enjoys traveling, yoga, gardening, cooking, wine tasting and entertaining family and friends.

Kallie Slette, PT, DPT, OCS
Director of Clinical Operations
Kallie was raised and currently lives in Boise, Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho and completed the Sports Science program in 2010. In 2013, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Kallie joined the Movement for Life Physical Therapy Team in 2013 and has taken advantage of their Orthopedic Residency, Director Track program and seen her role advance from Staff therapist, Assistant Clinic director, and now Director of Clinical Operations. Kallie has a passion for high quality patient-centered care, progressing her team, the profession, and seeing conservative musculoskeletal care as a solution to many challenges of the current healthcare landscape. Kallie married her high school sweetheart in 2011 and spends her free time with her 2 young boys and husband either skiing, hiking, boating or playing at Disney.
Mark Teague
Senior Recruiter
Mark grew up in Mount Shasta, CA. He went to school and played Baseball at Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia. Soon after graduating he moved to San Luis Obispo in 2011 and has been Recruiting ever since. He finds enjoyment in the mountains and all that can be done within them--like snowboarding, backpacking, rock climbing, and fishing.
Debbie Barckley
Clinical Platforms Manager
Debbie came to Movement for Life in 2017 with over 22 years of working in K-12 education. When starting with the Movement for Life team, she worked exclusively on the Everflex Health project as the Manager of Product Services. Debbie is currently the Clinical Platforms Manager and works closely with the Clinical, Administration, and IT teams to help support all software platforms that are used at Movement for Life.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys gardening, hiking, spending time with friends & family, and playing with her Golden Retriever grandpup Talley. Debbie is a continuous learner and likes challenging herself personally and professionally.
Alexa Munson
Physician Liaison - Arizona
Alexa was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona receiving a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Development and a minor in Communications in December of 2017. Alexa enjoys being out in the community every day and educating others on how impactful Physical Therapy is. Outside of her professional role, Alexa enjoys traveling to new places, interior decorating, cooking and spending time with her family.

Kalina Robles
Marketing Manager
Kalina, a true SoCal native born in Irvine and raised in Palm Springs, holds a BA in Strategic Communication from California State University, San Bernardino. Her agency and freelance experience ranges from strategic marketing, branding, content, and public relations.
With fifteen years of competitive dance under her belt, Kalina shifted her focus to teaching and choreography, channeling her passion for movement into her career.
Wanting to give back to the community that raised her, Kalina joined the board of the Hanson House in Palm Springs to help provide a home away from home for those with loved ones undergoing critical care at hospitals in the Coachella Valley.
Kalina joined the Movement for Life team in 2021, initially serving as the Desert region’s Physician Liaison before stepping into her current role as Marketing Manager. Off-duty, she's a cooking enthusiast (with a soft spot for Molly Baz recipes), an event planning assistant (she tears up at every wedding), and a proud wife to her husband Leonard, as well as a dog mom to her senior rescues, Toto and Stevie B.

Angie Dexter
Central Verification Manager
Angie was born and raised on the Central Coast and joined the Movement for Life team in 2008. Her first 12 years she was the Front Office Manager in the San Luis Obispo Aerovista clinic. And as of March 2020 she changed position and is currently the manager of the Central Verification Department. Outside of work Angie likes to take in the beauty of the Central Coast through her camera lens with her interest in landscape photography. She also enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her husband to pool tournaments.
Alicia Macias
Billing Department Director
Alicia was born in King City, Ca and has worked and lived in the area until she wanted a change in life and in scenery. She has been in San Luis Obispo County for the past 15 years. Alicia started with Movement For Life in 2009 as a Medical Biller then making her way to Charge Processing and Reimbursement Supervisor. As of 2021 she transitioned to the Billing Department Director and now supports and manages the entire Billing Department. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys being outdoors, reading, watching sports, spending time with her boyfriend and old lady cat Bettie.
Alejandro Velarde
Physician Liaison - CA Central Coast
Alejandro was born and raised on California's beautiful central coast. After graduating from high school, he spent nearly a decade in academia, earning his B.S. in Business Administration and Economics, a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado. Upon the completion of his education, he returned to his native home of San Luis Obispo County and joined the MFL team in 2022. Alejandro enjoys learning about American history, reading sci-fi, and watching the OU Sooners beat UT. Horns down!
Carly Rose Gundlach
Physician Liaison - North Carolina
Carly grew up in upstate New York. She joined Movement for Life in 2019 after working for a physical therapy practice in San Diego, CA. Prior to that, she was exposed to physical therapy through her time running and working in the running industry. Maintaining an active lifestyle is important to Carly, and she loves sharing the benefits of physical therapy through her role as Physician Liaison. In her free time she can be found reading and spending time outdoors riding bikes, hiking, and walking with her dog.

Elizabeth Wyatt
Physician Liaison - CA Desert
Lizi Wyatt is the Physician Liaison for the clinics in our Southern California Desert region. She values movement of all kinds. A former self-employed wilderness guide, yoga teacher, and NASM-certified trainer, she especially enjoys adventure and endurance sports. She worked in education for many years before becoming a Nurse Assistant, and joined Movement for Life in January of 2024. She enjoys getting out in the community and helping create and improve access to physical therapy!
