Julie Butler
Clinic Director - PT, DPT, OCS
Julie completed her undergraduate work at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and received both her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Western University of Health Sciences. After spending many years in high school and college running track and then coaching at both levels, Julie enjoys working with athletes to get back to their optimal level.
She has been board certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 2004, an accolade that only the top ~3.5% of Physical Therapists in the country have earned.
While not in the clinic, Julie enjoys biking, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Alex Dalley
Assistant Clinic Director - PT, DPT
Alex was born and raised in San Luis Obispo. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences from UCLA in 2017 and spent much of her time there interning with the UCLA Football team, where her interest in physical therapy grew. Following graduation from UCLA, Alex worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at Movement for Life’s Atascadero clinic. She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis, which she received in 2021. Alex completed a clinical rotation at the Arroyo Grande clinic as a Physical Therapy Student, and she is excited to come back as part of the team! She has a wide range of interests including orthopedic and sports therapy, but has a special interest
in pediatrics as well! Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys being outside, going on hikes and working out, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Haley Kubinak
PT, DPT
Haley is originally from southeastern Pennsylvania, where she was born and raised. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and earned a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Neuroscience in 2019. Haley then moved to Charleston, SC where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. In her free time, Haley enjoys surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and gardening.

Crystal Ignacio
PT, MS
Crystal Ignacio is a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for helping individuals regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Crystal grew up moving every few years as a military child with a father in the Army, but eventually settled down in central Texas. Crystal graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2003. After graduation, Crystal earned certifications in dry needling, kinesiotaping, and the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, she utilizes a patient-centered approach to develop personalized treatment plans. When not in the clinic, she enjoys hiking, running, reading, cooking, traveling, practicing yoga, spending time with her family and believes in the importance of a balanced lifestyle.

Rachel Barnett
PT, DPT
Rachel was born and raised in Novato, California. She attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2020. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at California State University, Fresno in 2024. Following graduation, she returned to live and work in her favorite place - the Central Coast of California. In her free time, Rachel enjoys painting, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
